Ruth is an award-winning, copy writer, speaker and partner of Red Dandelion Creative, a creative communications company. With sixteen years of experience in the special events industry, Ruth has written hundreds of proposals for Fortune 500 companies like Siemens, Farmer's Insurance, Rainbird, Epson, Epicor, Citrix, Anthem Blue Cross and Audi – just to name a few. She's been a contributing writer for industry magazines and a featured guest in the event industry's leading blog Ready2Spark.

Her award submission writing has been honored several times with her clients winning the coveted Special Event Gala and Event Solutions Spotlight Awards. These are annual, internationally recognized awards that honor the competing companies and individuals in a variety of categories. Winning her own award, Ruth was honored as Event Planner of the Year at the Event Solutions Spotlight Awards in 2007. As VP of Production as well as Marketing and Business Development for Extraordinary Events for many years, her knowledge and expertise of the different aspects of the industry range from concept and strategy of an event, to production and post production of projects. As a member of The Advisory Board for Special Events magazine, Ruth is integrally involved in the pulse of the meeting and events industry both in the United States and abroad.

As an internationally recognized speaker she takes her passion for writing and translates it into seminars that teach attendees how to focus their writing and translate them into successful bids for business. Her seminars are interactive and engaging as she teaches her attendees how to paint pictures with words. Ruth also enjoys speaking to groups about her passion for life, selling, creativity and motivating people to be the success they deserve to be.

‘Ruthspirations’ is her self-authored inspirational blog and pet project in which she addresses many of the challenges facing women in their professional and personal lives. She is a true advocate for women and works with young women to ensure they learn the importance of self esteem and self confidence and how it helps shape their decisions in life.
