Kathy Nenneker’s work in magazine positioning, start-ups and design has won numerous awards including those from Folio, the Society of Publication Designers, The Western Publications Association and the National Health Information Awards. Nenneker is a former Senior Vice President/Editorial Director at Weider Publications, Inc. where she led the editorial and design teams of Shape, Fit Pregnancy, Fit Pregnancy en Espanol, and Jump. During her tenure Fit Pregnancy grew to be the country’s largest pre-natal magazine and Shape grew to be the largest active lifestyle magazine in the world with a circulation of 1.5 million and 8 international editions. Nenneker also served as producer on the successful launch of the Shape Fitness Music Series.

Nenneker’s company, Kathy Nenneker & Associates, is currently working with clients including Los Angeles Magazine and New Parent Media. For Los Angeles Magazine she oversees multiple titles including Beverly Hills magazine, Pasadena, Saint John’s Health Center Magazine, Los Angeles Weddings, and the California College Guide. For New Parent Media she serves as Editorial Director for New Parent Magazine, Baby&Toddler Magazine and New Parent en Espanol.

Nenneker has appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows, including Good Day LA, KTLA Morning Show, Inside Hollywood Celebrity Weddings, Bride Wars DVD Extras, Get Married, and LXTV First Look LA, and has been a guest speaker at various publishing and design conferences including Folio Los Angeles and New York, M2, The Meredith Design Symposium, and the American Society of Magazine Editors.
